Apple TV+ is betting big on suburban chaos, renewing Your Friends & Neighbors for a third season ahead of its Season 2 premiere this spring.
Apple TV+ is doubling down on Your Friends & Neighbors, renewing the Jon Hammâled drama for a third season before Season 2 has even premiered.
The early renewal arrives alongside the release of a brief teaser for Season 2, which is set to debut April 3 on Apple TV+, with new episodes rolling out weekly on Fridays through June 5. The move signals strong internal confidence in the series, which Apple previously described as one of its top-performing dramas following its debut last year.
Season 2 finds Hammâs Andrew Cooper â known to those around him simply as Coop â leaning further into criminality rather than retreating from it. After narrowly avoiding a prison sentence for a crime he didnât commit, Coop opts to escalate his illicit activities, pushing the show deeper into its exploration of suburban rot, entitlement, and moral compromise.
The upcoming season also introduces a major new wildcard: James Marsden, who joins the cast as a mysterious new neighbor whose arrival threatens to expose Coopâs carefully managed double life and put his family directly in harmâs way. The addition sharpens the showâs central tension, turning quiet cul-de-sacs into battlegrounds of surveillance, paranoia, and buried secrets.
Returning cast members include Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt, and Donovan Colan.
The series is created by Jonathan Tropper, who serves as showrunner, executive producer, and director under his overall deal with Apple TV+. Hamm also executive produces alongside Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas, and Stephanie Laing, who directs the majority of Season 2 episodes.
