TCC’s 11th Annual Humanitarian Awards Honors Jason Isaacs, Judith Light, Natasha Rothwell, and More

The Creative Coalition’s annual Beverly Hills luncheon spotlighted Hollywood changemakers using their platforms for good.

The red carpet at Beverly Hills lit up this weekend as The Creative Coalition hosted its 11th Annual Humanitarian Awards Luncheon, honoring a slate of powerful voices in Hollywood who use their influence to champion mental health, arts education, caregiving, and social justice.

This year’s distinguished honorees included Emmy nominees Jason Isaacs (The White Lotus), John Turturro (Severance), and Natasha Rothwell (The White Lotus), along with Emmy and Tony Award-winner Judith Light (Poker Face), and acclaimed actors Jon Gries (The White Lotus), Brianne Howey (Ginny & Georgia), and Skye P. Marshall (Matlock).

The afternoon celebration, held in support of The Creative Coalition’s arts advocacy initiatives, was co-chaired by some of the industry’s most influential leaders. Among them: philanthropist Eden Alpert, Michelle and Michael Chiklis (The Senior), Jamie and Chris McGurk (Chairman and CEO of Cineverse), producer Cindy Cowan, and Rob O’Neill (Burlesque).

Hosted by Variety’s Senior Culture and Events Editor Marc Malkin, the event featured a dazzling array of presenters including Emmy Award-winner Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Yvette Nicole Brown (Inside Out 2), Sarah Catherine Hook (The White Lotus), Tig Notaro (The Morning Show), and executive producer David W. Zucker (The Good Wife).

Judith Light spoke passionately while accepting her honor: “I have long been an admirer of The Creative Coalition, and it seems particularly potent and powerful and important at this moment in our history to be here.”

Brianne Howey added, “Working on a show that speaks to young people has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I am truly honored to be among so many people I admire.”

Natasha Rothwell offered a stirring tribute to the organization itself: “Thank you for your mission; thank you for everything you do to advocate, to mobilize, and activate the artists in this community.”

While presenting the award to Jason Isaacs, Sarah Catherine Hook captured the spirit of the day: “Jason understands something too many people forget—the arts are fundamental to our humanity.”

Additional celebrity guests included Craig Robinson, Evan Handler, Jason Ritter, Richard Kind, Rob Morrow, and William Stanford Davis, making the event one of the most star-studded and socially conscious gatherings of awards season.

The Creative Coalition, founded in 1989, has long stood at the intersection of arts and advocacy. Its Spotlight Initiative, launched in 1991, celebrates socially impactful storytelling in film and television. All proceeds from the Humanitarian Awards go toward the organization’s year-round efforts to protect and promote the arts nati onwide.

With the entertainment world in the midst of a cultural shift, events like these serve as a reminder that Hollywood’s brightest stars aren’t just entertainers—they’re changemakers.
