TIFF 50 Unveils Full 2025 Lineup, Including New Films from Park Chan-wook, Claire Denis, and Olivier Assayas

Toronto’s 50th anniversary edition will showcase 291 films, from world premieres to gala spotlights.

The Toronto International Film Festival has revealed its complete schedule for TIFF 50, and cinephiles can officially start mapping out their September. Running from September 4–14, 2025, the milestone 50th edition will present an impressive 291 titles, including 209 features, six restored classics, 10 Primetime selections, and 66 shorts.

Today’s announcement marks the final wave of programming before the festival’s kickoff, adding six high-profile features to the roster. Pablo Trapero’s & Sons (UK/Canada) will make its world premiere in the Special Presentations section, while French director Cédric Jimenez brings Dog 51 for its North American debut. Park Chan-wook’s No Other Choice, already one of the festival’s most anticipated titles following its Venice bow, is set for a Gala screening. Claire Denis returns with The Fence, Olivier Assayas unveils The Wizard of the Kremlin, and Kaouther Ben Hania’s The Voice of Hind Rajab will also debut for North American audiences.
